The Prop is a well designed, affordable and portable laptop stand. Functionally, the Prop slightly lifts your laptop off any surface, creating better airflow and improved ergonomics. It disassembles quickly and can be stored compactly in your desk drawer or bag. Unlike other bulky laptop stands and non-portable cooling devices, the Prop is designed to travel and work in every situation (salad tongs?).

NP_Located on the Second Floor of the School of Architecture at Princeton in the M.Arch (Masters of Architecture) 1 of 3 (first of three years) cluster. Stacks of readings on architectural theory, Prada, and "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho for text at hand at all times.
JB_My handmade desk is in our downtown loft apartment in Lincoln, Nebraska. The room is used multi-functionally as a guest bedroom and office space for my wife, Erin and I. The desk itself is pretty important to me as it was one of my first pieces of furniture; otherwise I use my patchwork reference wall daily.
NP_Yohji Yamamoto: His unique approach in the leak between the avant-garde and consumer collaboration in garment design.
JB_Massimo Vignelli: Mr. Vignelli is a role model for me in that he was trained in architecture, but his work spans many fields of design. One of his famous quotes, "If you can design one thing, you can design everything."
NP_MAXXI addition in Rome, Italy by Zaha Hadid Architects. Why? Their innovative approach to museum layout, to facilitate the program and result in beauty.
JB_Helvetica font family. Why? Helvetica was spectacular when showcased in 1957 and it has not lost a bit of steam in over 50 years; it is the epitome of timeless design.
