Shouldn't a pro designer have noticed that the backs of the DCM's (in the first pic) are stuck on upside-down?

In the last picture, the tufted pin board over the desk, does anyone know how to make the ribbons stay? I've tried to make my own big tufted pin board, and the ribbons never stay, no matter the size of the pins or buttons i use to keep everything in place. Should I graduate to using a staple gun?

orchidday, i would drill a small hole through the board at each button point. String a cord through the holes of the button and thread it through the hole in the board, then pull taut and staple the cord ends to the back side of the board. You can knot the cord and staple through the knot to keep it from coming loose.

That's the serious upholstery method. Stapling from the front would probably work ok but then you'd have to cover the staples.

WHERE WHERE WHERE can I find horizontal stripe curtains like those in the first picture??? I have been searching to no avail!!
