As more people jump on their bikes rather than in their cars to go to work or the grocery store, there's a growing need for super-duper bike carriers and trailers that can handle our baggage. (Because for many of us, that's one thing we haven't yet figured out how to give up!) Last month we went gaga over the Taga bicycle stroller, and this month we're eyeing Burley's newest trailer called the Travoy. It hitches to the seat post of your bike and can carry up to 60 pounds of gear.
Whenever you get to your destination, just lift the trailer off the bike with a simple release and wheel it down the street and inside with you. (Kind of like a carry-on luggage bag). The Travoy also folds down small to fit underneath a table.
The Travoy retails for $289 and includes the trailer, a tote bag that doubles as a bag for various gear when clipped to the trailer, and a set of tie-down straps to lash down bulkier items. You can purchase it through Amazon, BicycleTrailers.com, Biketrailershop.com and HealthCheckSystems.com.
