Product: The Snugg iPad and Tablet Cases
Price: $35.99 - $49.99
When taking trips, it's not uncommon for me to leave the laptop at home and opt for my iPad or tablet instead. Most road warriors I know are pretty committed to a bluetooth keyboard and tablet, which is why finding the perfect case is so critical.
Let's face it. Cases are kind of a dime a dozen these days, but I'm a fan of the Snugg for two key reasons. The first is that the leather and craftsmanship are far ahead of the standard cases. Second, the lifetime warranty means splurging for high quality is actually worth it in this case.
I took the Snugg case on two work trips which required planes, trains, cabs, and even sidewalk computing. Airport security was a breeze and the case survived two drops, one on pavement and one on wood flooring. In both crashes, the iPad received no damage and the leather held up surprising well.
The one thing I will recommend is skipping some of the lower priced Snugg cases that don't include features like business card holders or a slot for a Bluetooth keyboard. In our modern times these features are necessary, especially if you're on the road a lot. At least to me, it's really not worth it to spend nearly $40 with shipping for a basic case without these features. In the basic case I used with my iPad, I found the space to be wasted, and it could have been used for so many other purposes.
Pros: The leather is so soft and yet still durable. It's perfect for people who regularly opt for tablets instead of laptops when traveling.
Cons: The basic cases could use more features for the price.
