As a Turk, I buy these in Turkey as gifts for friends and have several myself. They're great for kids, too. In larger cities here, you might also find them available at outdoor markets.

Wish I could find an inexpensive source for these. Been looking for years, but I just can't spend upwards of $40 on a towel. Just not in that income bracket yet. Maybe when the kids grow up and I'll only have to buy a couple?

It's so important that the pestamels are organic. My niece had been wrapped up in then since she was a babe. The lower quality ones just fall apart after a few washes. I love that Ella Lou has different thicknesses you can buy. Congrats ladies can't wait for your new styles to arrive!

I can't live without my Pestamel. I buy mine through Ella Lou. The quality of the pieces are outstanding. They are soft, organic and durable. I use mine so many different ways. I tuck it into my bag and take it to the beach, pool, hikes, picnics. I also use them for home decor I pack it into my carry-on for airplane rides and use them as towels or blankets when I travel! I even wrap it around me and use it as a scarf or wrap when it gets chilly. I love them!!

I ditched my terry towels for the turkish towels a couple of years ago. If you have a small, poorly ventilated bathroom, these will actually *dry* before the end of the day. Everyone who visits me winds up going to Eastern Market before they leave to get a couple for themselves. I bought mine in person at the market, but you can also get them online at www.soapsantiochia.com. Also love their olive oil bar and liquid soaps!
