The Underbed Lift

With the introduction of flat panel televisions, the days of having a room's decor dominated by a large ugly box is no longer a necessity when creating a home theater environment. People are hanging the sets on walls, hiding their screens using two mirrors, or just framing their set with decor friendly picture frames...

But the folks at MK 1 Studio have taken the issue of hiding television monitors to a new level (perhaps even a bit too far for my own taste). They've taken a 50" plasma and have hidden the unit underneath a king sized bed, where it can be deployed for use in 45 seconds using an automatic arm lift mechanism. Watch the impressive feat here.

I'd just be worried about...ahem..."bedroom activities" that would endanger your investment below.
