Move over Starbucks. There's a new competitor in town. It's called Millz Coffee, named after the cutest little barista you've ever seen, and, oh yeah, it's made of cardboard. We'll take that almond croissant and a salted caramel hot chocolate, please.
Emilia loved her wooden coffee maker so much that her mom, Traci, joked that she should make her an entire coffee shop. The next thing Traci knew, she was in full cardboard construction mode cutting and taping the countertops, shelves, and espresso machine. She also stitched up coffee bags, felt pastries, and faux whipped cream (and claims she can't sew - ha!). And as a graphic designer, she of course had to make the perfect logo. If you've ever had one of those "No, I couldn't possibly do that...could I?" kind of craft ideas, then this project is sure to inspire you to go ahead full steamed milk.
Be sure to visit Traci's blog, 45Wall Design, to see more beautiful pics of this project and click back to this post to see her awesome, handmade motorcycle ride on.

Nomade Express Slee...
I would love to play along at this shop maybe when my youngest is a bit older I can construct something like this, love the pastries I have to make more this year!
That is the cutest (and most creative!) thing I have ever seen! I think I'll be skipping Starbucks today and stopping by Millz instead :)
this is so adorable.
This is great! Maybe I should do something like this for my son, he helps me with my coffee every morning. He'd love this.
This is AWESOME! And so something my son would/would have loved!! He became well versed in coffee shop culture at a young age...
OMG, I love all these super creative parents. Seriously. I love that I can get online and be super inspired by stuff like this. Amazing job!
Love the re-use of the cabaret (cuppy-holdy thingys you get at fast food joints or coffee shops)!! This is adorable. I want to play in it.
Love this. Am inspired to add a coffee shop to our play kitchen corner!
That is brilliant. We play bakery in a similar style, but this is enviable!
Oh my god. Love love love this.

Where did she get the wooden coffee maker?
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for all the lovely compliments. It was definitely a project that took on a life of its own, but totally worth it. My daughter loves it.
Thanks Katie and Ohdeedoh for posting this!
And avimom, my brother got it on Amazon. It's the Educo Rise and Shine coffee maker. It's a great little piece all on its own!

Your daughter is so lucky to have such a creative and loving mother!
And as a extra bonus, she's getting "business" experience!
Oh my gosh! I am freaking out over here! I am a Mom, an artist, AND a barista, and this looks like heaven to me. Huge kudos and admiration!
