Behold: the most exclusive and most expensive children's slide in the world. Kate Middleton ordered this slide, in blue, for Prince George's first birthday but the version above is truly fit for a king, or anyone who can afford to spend € 9,990. What's so special about this slide, dubbed "The Golden Unicorn"? Well, it's gilded in 24-carat gold-leaf.

The German maker, Jupiduu, got a huge boost when they noticed an order for their much more modest plain wood version (£159.90) going to Kensington Palace, presumably to celebrate Prince George's first birthday. After publicizing this royal connection, they began to receive inquiries, primarily from the United Arab Emirates, asking (naturally) if the slide was available in gold.

Hence, the birth of the Golden Unicorn slide, of which they've already sold four —including one with a ruby inset into the company logo.
