These doll houses are crafted for use by child therapists to use for role playing. Since they're somewhat institutional in use, they're built very sturdily and simply to work well for many children over many years. But we think we would love their simplicity and strength for the home, too:

The houses are handmade by Images: Butch's Blocks of either Curly Maple or Cherry wood and come in small and large sizes. It's not clear whether these houses would be sold to the general public or if they're only available to professionals in child therapy, but they offer lots of inspiration nonetheless. Their simplicity allows for little ones to fill in the blanks with their imagination.

We love the toys pictured inside the house, too, all of which can be found at Ryan's Room Toys.
