There are so many things to love in this child's room, but I have to highlight two. One catches the eye and adds charm. The other is ingenious because you barely see it at all.
The eye catching element I'm talking about is the assortment of paper lanterns and other items suspended in mid-air as three-dimensional art. It adds a lot of visual interest to the room without feeling heavy or cluttered.
The second design element is meant to be inconspicuous. A child's closet created from a long table fitted with a clothes rod and curtains. It doubles as storage and display up top. It's a great solution for rooms without closets. If you want see more of this room and the rest of the house, check out Miluccia.

I didn't even notice that little closet at first, that's how unobtrusive it is!
Cute storage idea but not functional room item for exploring baby/early toddler years, at least not with my kids! they would have gleefully ripped the clothes from the hangers and strewn them about as fast as I could rehang them.
Gorgeous room, but agree with @Ella T, not only will a mobile baby (probably) love to pull those hangers down, but I myself wouldn't take long to get over bending down fairly low to hang clothes. I'd love to see an expedit or similar bookcase modified as a closet. You could use the bottom shelves for toy storage, and hack some higher ones to hang clothes.
In any case, you can clearly see that the table in question is not deep enough for the clothes; it's an interesting idea but if you're going to hang a curtain in front it's going to have to be a deeper table.
Many Thanks for linking!!!!!!
The closet is a great Montessori approach, but obviously, this would only work for a toddler ready to handle only taking things out when necessary. My 14 month old for examples loves his open closet (I do not) and is learning "no" much more frequently because of that.
i want to know where that pink floor lamp is from!!! fun room!
