There's a Live Bee Sculpture at MoMA

If your idea of a relaxing summer day includes taking in some art, melissophobics take note. The MoMA recently acquired a piece that incorporates live bees, and is on display at the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden.

Pierre Huyghe's sculpture Untilled is a reclining female figure with a "live colony of a gentle breed of bees" atop her head.

While there is no rope to separate people from approaching the work, museum staff is on hand monitoring.
