You know what New York has been missing all along? A museum about ice cream. And now there finally is one. But while the pop-up opens on Friday, it's already crushing our hopes and dreams.

Located on Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District, the Museum of Ice Cream runs from July 29 through August 31—and the bad news is that it's already sold out. So those of us who don't already have tickets will miss out on ice cream-centric art, an immersive chocolate room, scoops of the day from local NYC shops, and a swimming pool full of rainbow sprinkles. Yes, a POOL full of SPRINKLES.

Left out of the proverbial Willy Wonka's factory, we can feel the FOMO by following along via the hashtag #MOIC. We didn't want sprinkles up our noses anyway.
