These beautifully streaked vases aren't burled wood, they're made from pencils. Partnering with pencil maker Faber-Castell, Finnish artist Tuomas Markunpoika of Studio Markunpoika glued the hexagonal tools together and shaved them down to create traditional vase shapes.
