Richard Clarkson has created the Blossom Project, 3-D printed flowers that "bloom." Clarkson used a 3-D printer with dual jets that can print objects with different materials at the same time. The flowers bloom when air is puffed into the blossom, pushing the inner petals outward, and causing the outer petals to open.
