If you've ever wished for more surface or seating space in a pinch, here's a modular furniture line for you. New York-based designer Ian Stell debuted his Pantograph series during NYCxDESIGN.

Based on the 16th century invention, most often seen today in extendable wall-mounted mirrors, Stell's pieces can be expanded and contracted into different configurations. The collection includes the Sidewinder side table (above), the triangular Lattice table (lead image), the Big Pivot dining table, and Austrian Loop tête-à-tête.
