It may look like someone removed one end of an old analog phone, but inside the retro shaped TeleSound is a Bluetooth enabled speaker with over 1,000 sound files chosen to represent popular Emoji characters with audio. So instead of your friend just receiving a "handclapping" Emoji, they'd actually hear clapping on their end...
TeleSound connects wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth 4.0 (see the list of compatible devices in the "Compatibility" section below).
When it's connected, anyone that you authorized can trigger sounds on your TeleSound from anywhere in the world, by sending a series of icons from a free iPhone/Android application. It's like text messaging with Emojis, transformed into sounds.
The question of course, is this better served as a software app solution rather than a stand-alone hardware device. Perhaps, but this is surely a lot cuter.
