In the event that you're not somebody who is nearly 30 years old but still spends more time reading up on boy bands than doing laundry, let me catch you up on some news: Nick Carter, beloved Backstreet Boy, and his wife Lauren Kitt Carter welcomed baby boy Odin Reign Carter into the world earlier this year.
Odin, of course, needed a royal nursery befitting of both his middle name and his status as heir to the teen pop crown, so Nick and Lauren enlisted interiors firm Rockabye Mommy to design a calm, peaceful and actually kind of grown-up space.
The room came together first with the Novella crib (a gift from fellow dad and fellow Backstreet Boy A.J. McClean – yes, that's what the 'Boys are gifting each other these days: cribs), then by nailing down the steampunk flying machines wallpaper.
In case you're wondering, yes, Stephanie Avila did also design the nursery for A.J.'s now-three-year-old daughter. You can check out that room, plus more photos of Odin Carter's nursery on Rockabye Mommy, filed appropriately under "Backstreet Girl" and "Backstreet Boy," respectively.
