No man is an island— but this house is. Just Room Enough Island is part of the Thousand Islands chain on the border of New York and Canada, and there's literally just room enough for one house.
To be classified as an island in the region, the land must be larger than one square foot, stay above water year round, and have at least one tree. Just Room Enough checks those boxes!
The island was purchased in the '50s as a vacation home, but sightseers effectively ended the peaceful quietude of the surroundings.
