This may look like a typical leather sofa, but it's actually made from an unconventional material. Can you guess?

Edinburgh, Scotland-based studio FourEightEight made this two-seater from poured concrete. Yes, that's concrete. They used an actual leather sofa to create the mold, so the result is quite a realistic copy. The choice of material also means the piece can be left outside in all weather.

Despite not being soft leather, the studio describes it as "surprisingly comfortable." You can own one, too; it comes standard in fourteen colors for £3,000—custom colors are extra.
