Would you pick up a hitchhiker? What if it was an adorable robot? Researchers are building hitchBot, a robot meant to travel across Canada through the kindness of strangers. It will recognize speech, record stories, and dazzle you with Wikipedia trivia. hitchBot’s journey will start on July 27th at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and hopefully make it all the way to the Pacific Coast.
