Do you recognize this house? It's the home of Fall Cure member Margaret (aka Moryse Heron), and on Sunday it will be open for tours in Waukegan, Illinois. Margaret sent us an email: "I did the Fall 2007 Cure, and I'm glad I did because this weekend my house will be on a Tour of Homes for the local historical society. Having the office re-done meant that I could let hundreds of strangers into my house without embarrassment! Well, less embarrassment..."
"At any rate, if anyone is in the vicinity of Waukegan this Sunday (June 22), my home will be open from 1pm to 5pm. It's a fund raiser for the Waukegan Historical Society, but compared to many house tours, we're cheap. I'm on the board of directors for the Society; that's how they dragged me into the Tour." Details and locations can be found here.

Stay tuned for more photos of Margaret's historic home...we're planning an online house tour to be posted on AT.
Thanks, Margaret!

Love it, can't wait for more!
Love it too!
What shelf is above the desk?
Great job! I'm really looking forward to the tour.
Really beautiful job; seems extremely livable. I would also like to know where the shelf above the desk is from.
great office
Thanks!
The shelf above the desk is a Duoplane. I think it's the CD version (there is now a DVD version). I bought it at The Container Store, but they don't seem to carry it any longer. But it appears that a lot of other retailers carry it, so it's still available.
Three desks?
where did you find the art in your bedroom? i feel i have seen it before, must have forgotten to bookmark.
Love it. So much personality, yet so calming.
TRUE BLUE:
More than three desks, actually. Two in the office (one for computing, one for writing), one in the kitchen (meal planning and breakfast), an inherited drop-front desk in the "home" office (bill paying), and one in the craft studio. Yeah, I like a good work surface.
lieschenmueller:
The art is reminiscent of several artists, but I bought these pieces at last year's Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago. They are from three sheets 2 the wind .
