We wash a lot of surfaces in the home. Floors, countertops, appliances and more all get a clean swipe from time to time. A place we often neglect? The walls! But it's not just for hygienic purposes you should be scrubbing this surface, too — cleaner walls are almost like a new paint job, making your rooms look fresher, newer and more pleasant to be in!

This Weekend's Assignment:

Clean the walls of one room thoroughly.

We're only assigning one room for this official Weekend Project assignment; we know you all live in different sized homes and one room for someone could be a much larger task than someone else's entire home. You should choose how much wall surface area you'd like to clean based on your time and energy levels this weekend, but aim for getting one room done — anything beyond that is a bonus!

The tutorial above is an easy, clear and simple way to tackle this task. Perhaps one of the best things about this Weekend Project is its simplicity and straightforwardness — it's so easy even the kids could get involved. But, like anything in your home, consider testing a small, unnoticeable patch of wall with your cleaning tools first before applying it to a large area.
