On Rosh Hashana it's customary to dip apples in honey in anticipation of a sweet new year. These honeybees are pretty sweet too, and we like the idea of making them annually to see the progress of little thumbs getting bigger from year to year. To make your own, dip a thumb into yellow paint and press it onto black construction paper. Make a bunch. Use a popsicle stick to draw two lines through each print, then add wings and antennae with a white crayon. Find other crafts for Rosh Hashana and all year round at Challah Crumbs.
