i've never heard of a heated mattress pad before, but it sounds pretty awesome. thanks!
I love this! I want this!
I am a night owl and since everyone goes to bed at a "normal" hour in my building, the heat shuts off at 11 PM...meaning that by the time I go to bed at 2 AM, I am chilled to the bone and have a very hard time warming up when I first climb into bed. I can't fall asleep for a bit as I am shivering for at least 15 minutes or so. I was considering an electric blanket, but this seems even more sensible as it comes from underneath and heat rises!
Plus, I think this will convince my cats to cuddle on top of my bed more and give me warmth from above, too...:)
My cat would looovvveee this!
Ah, I love my apartment, except for the inadequate heat. This would definitely compensate for this!
-Adrienne
Who would believe that us Southerners actually need warm blankets!? But it's true - we have had snow twice already here in Atlanta and we're completely lacking warm blankets and other accouterments to cope with the cold. This winter is promising at least one more snowfall and another month's worth of cold weather, and this heated mattress pad would certainly help us stave off the cold.
A heated mattress pad ! wonders never cease and apparently neither does a -20 degree day in Chicago!
oooh. so cozy!
Love this - it's actually getting pretty cold here in Memphis.
My college roommate NEEDS this.
looks comfy! could definitely use this.
My boyfriend is a wonderful man.
...Except for the fact that his apartment has no radiators. This might keep us from breaking up
Oh my goodness, could I ever use this. I was just changing my bed this weekend and looked at the pitiful condition of my mattress pad. Plus, it costs too much to turn on my heat in my apartment, and I have to turn it on anyway, because it's so cold, and I'm on chemotherapy right now, and need not to invite getting a cold. This luxury heated mattress pad would come in so handy and make my life so much better. Thanks for the opportunity to win this item. Thanks so much. Cathie :) cathieway@cathieway.com
Pick me! I'm pregnant and can't get a good night's sleep sleeping on my side.
I've just bought my first home and striving to save on energy costs and increasing efficiency, in the dead of winter. The pad seems much more inviting than sleeping in my clothes.
oO0o0ooh how cozy!
Having just moved to SF from the other Coast I was not prepared for the 40 degree temps we've been experiencing. Not particularly terrific for my Raynaud's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raynaud's_disease
Besides, what a perfect excuse for not getting out of bed.
Cheers,
I have never heard of a heated mattress pad how nice.. I have arthirites in my knees and back this would be so nice ,
I know on my SS i could not affrod this , I love your site and wished i had the strenght to do some of your ideas..
thank you Vie
i had one of these when i lived in ny...i so miss it
It’s so cold in my 200-year-old apartment building that my cat wedges herself between me and my pillow to take advantage of body-heat. This is not a good problem to have. It gets ugly if I roll over in the middle of the night…..
Hello, Please enter me in this fantastic contest! I can't seem to get warm this winter. Thanks very much! Cindi
I'd love to win this too!
yes please! my new york apartment is freezing, this would be amazing!
Yes, would LOVE one of these.
i used heated mattress pads on my massage table. they feel so great, especially if your back hurts. this would be awesome! queen, please. :)
My fiance and I would definitely love this!! Neither of us can sleep unless we're warm.
I would love to have this because my little apartment gets mighty cold.
i must have this! i'm poor and single (does that beat the pregnant lady?) well, since I'm poor and single I don't have anyone to cuddle up to keep me warm and nobody to help me with my high energy bills. Single income households are always colder!
Wow, what a GREAT idea! I thought my elderly landlords would keep my place nice and toasty (I live right above them) but man was I wrong--I haven't felt warm in about eight weeks at this point.
yes, I'm freezing!
I've always wanted something like this, it looks great! I love it already!
I would love this! Our bedroom is freezing and if I get into bed after my husband has fallen asleep, my cold arm touching his is enough to jolt him awake. I think owning this heated mattress pad might help save our marriage!
Hello Apartment Therapy.
I would love to win this item. My apartment is vey cold and I wake up every morning with terrible neck and back problems due to the constant draft from my window.
Thanks
This sounds amazing! May I have this please??!
ooooh! i had one of these way back in high school (when i was sandwiched between that and an electric blanket). it seems so wrong, but feels sooooo right. i'd love to revisit the warmth!
this sounds perfect! would i ever get out of bed?!
I plan to cook a pot roast next to me while I sleep....
So cold! Want it now!
this would be so nice to have... especially considering I wear two layers of sweaters (with a hood!) to sleep. brrrr
Since I have lived in FL my entire life and am now moving to Seattle I think my body would love this.
I need some help adjusting!
Hubby has advanced Parkinson's Disease and has such difficulty with any movement in bed. Rolling over is almost impossible. Heavy top covers impede his movement so much that in the winter time neither of us get many z's. This would be the perfect solution to this dilemma. How exciting...he moves without help, I sleep, he sleeps, we're both warm........I must be dreaming!!!!!
warmth. i love it!
Yes, I know how it feels to have bad heating. Please submit me.
Would love to win this! I get cold.
Toasty!
pick me pick me!
this is exactly what i need! my partner loves the cold from the drafty windows, but I freeze. being able to control the temp for each side of the bed would be perfect!
cozy..
This mattress looks amazing! I wish I had one to snuggle in, especially during this cold winter.
I wouldn't have to wear socks to bed anymore!
My bedroom is in the basement of our 1950s era ranch house. It's about 60 degrees down there in the summer, but in the winter it's miserably cold. I have FIVE blankets on the bed right now and it still took me an hour to thaw out this morning.
Oh my gosh- I NEED THIS!
This would be a great solution to the 'no heat at night' policy enacted in my building that's forcing my husband and I and and our 4 year old son to huddle in one bed under 4 blankets wearing ski caps.
I've been sick with a nasty staph infection and can't seem to stay warm. This would be a Godsend!!!!
omg! I need this!
This winter has been very cold here in Iowa. Our electricity/gas/heating bill was almost $400 last month, and that is with our heat turned down to quite low during the night!
The kids sleep on our bed because it's nice to have Mommy, but also there's more body heat.
We would be grateful to have this.
i want it! please...?
Wow, this sounds soooo awesome! I don't think I've heard of a heated matress before. :)
I would love it!!
Oooh, I saw an add for this in Woman's Day! I would love it but I would have to fold it over so it wasn't on my husbands side. He likes to sleep in a chilly CHILLY bedroom!
I really need this!!
i may live in alabama, but i still really need this!
As a poor college student in Wisconsin, this sounds like a blessing!
I'd love one
Leave it to Sunbeam to make such a wonderful product ! I absolutely need this !
It has been unusually cold in CA this week. And, I'd love to win this to go with the electric blanket so I can fry myself warm straight through to summer!
I am in Minnesota in a 97 year old house. It is 18 below wind chill here, and those winds cut right through my old homes cracks! With our gas bill being $366 last month we have turned to new ways to stay warm, including staying under the covers lots and lots!
Being warmed from the bottom up in the bed would be heavenly. I need this for every bed in my house, especially for my mom, who will be moving in with us soon, and she has trouble with arthritis in the cold. It would be so nice to bless her with a super warm bed!
I've been telling myself lately that I need a heated blanket or something, until I'm able to escape living in New Jersey, and here you are giving one away! pleaseandthankyou
Oh, lovely. I was thinking heating pad. This sounds better!
thats neat n usefull,its freezing!
Used these in Africa...they are the bomb!
I live in Boston! It's cold!
As cold as it has been that would be amazing!!
Husband and I were just arguing on who was hogging the comforter to keep warm. This would solve our argument!
fantastic!
this will keep me and the cats toasty warm!
Because in these winter months when we get into bed, the sheets are so cold we scream (and not in a good way). That's just not good for restful sleeping!
Our anniversary is on Feb 6th and for some reason my hubby has wanted one of these for a long time. This would solve my dilemma of getting him something!
Now my kitty is never gonna get off the bed!!
I would love to be chosen as winner. Although not for myself, it's for one of my good friends who seems to continually have issues with the heating unit in her apartment and the landlord has done absolutely nothing to fix it.
So choose me and I'll give you her address for shipping.
Thank you
For some reason, our bedroom is the coldest place in the house...It gets really chilly in there during the night. I have wanted one of these for a while! We have a king sized bed, so the dual controls would be awesome...I'm always cold, he's always warm! Thanks for the chance to win one!
Ooooh, that sounds so cozy.
So needed right now, it was -25 this morning!
I just moved to SF from Austin, oh how I miss Tex-Mex...at anyrate, it is much colder here then I thought it would be and I could use this!
My boyfriend may hate it, but i will love it. and it just may keep us together. thank you!
This would be a great thing to have!
i am freezing all the time, would be very useful.
thank you.
Oh my! With our evenings getting down below zero lately, I could totally use one of these!
I really Need this ,I live in Palm Bay ,FL and its usually warm all thru out the year, not so here the last year or so and im not prepared for the cold, burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
OHHHHH!! i could have so used this right now, tonight...its currently NEGATIVE FOUR degrees....
and i am currently so partner-less...so i have nobody to keep me warm! boo hoo!!
LOL
i would love this!!
Would love to be all warm and cozy! Please enter my name. Thank you!
Me! My husband is having major back surgery in a few months!
I need this tonight!! Enter me please!
With is being below 0 a night we certainly could use this to keep warm right now!
This sounds so nice and toasty!
I'm SO cold!!! Please pick me and send it right away!! I don't want to wish for global warming!
It was -11 with a wind chill of -26 last night, I am still frozen!!!
Perfect timing!
This would totally get me in bed on time every night!
This sounds like a great product. I don't have heat in my bedroom, and it has been cold in SF!
Oh my. . . this would be heaven with the cold temperatures that will not go away!
this would be awesome!! it is supposed to be 8 degrees tonight!!!
It's cold outside baby!
It is cold in INDIANA! pick us!
My feet masquerade as ice blocks more often that I care to talk about. If I want to have any feeling in my feet at all I have to run hot hot hot water over them before getting into bed otherwise they are solid ice all night. This would be the answer to my prayers and hopefully the solution to my dilema. It really and truly sucks to wake up, stretch and get a muscle cramp in the arch of your foot because you are so cold. Generally the best way to loosen a cramp is to apply cold to it but when you are colder than ice it doesn't seem to work. That I have not gotten frostbite naturally is a miracle!
Freezing in Brooklyn.....please pick me - my frozen 18 year old cat will thank you......
Soooo warm and snuggly!
With an all electric house, I freeze in winter, this mattress pad would just be ideal for me. I like nothing better then a warm cozy bed.
How warm and cozy AND FABULOUS!!
In order to conserve energy (and my money) I have turned the heater down in the house this winter so this would help keep me warm at night.
The perfect cure for cold feet in bed. I want this! :-)
With our drafty windows this will be great!
Wow - I had one when I was a single (in a single bed) - and now that the husband has been switched to the night shift, this would be so great to stay warm/snuggly at night!
Please, oh please. I live in a drafty 100 year home. Due to our budget the thermostat is set at a "modest" temperature. A heated mattress pad sounds like heaven. Especially with outside temperatures currently being 15 degrees.
Wow, we could really use this. We live in student housing, which has a beautiful view down the hill of the ocean. Unfortunately, the apartments are 30 years old, and so is all the weatherproofing, so we have gaps around all the windows and doors. That ocean view also means ocean winds, and we have taken to using packing tape around our windows just so we can keep the furnace set below 80 (!) while keeping the place warm enough to get away with just sweaters and slippers during the day. Summers are nice, but these winters are freezing! Literally; we got snow here in Santa Cruz a couple nights ago.
Oh yeah, that sounds sooo good to me, I just heard from somebody ironing their sheets every night during the winter season and that made me think about how nice it would feel...this sounds right up there with it, I would love to own that!
I could use this. My room is freezing in the winter.
The cat wouldn't have to sit on my feet in order to keep warm anymore...I love it!
just what we need - it's freezing here right now!
how wonderful- we've been decreasing the temp in our home to save money due to my job loss and we've been thinking of buying something like this when I find a new job!
my cold little toes. they will be so happy.
it is below freezing tonight and would love a cozy bed to hop into
This would be lovely! It is unusually cold here of late and my part of the house isn't heated.
I'm a poor college student paying rent. my bed NEEDS something other than just a blanket and a pillow. this mattress pad would help me loads. i've never liked the cold so warm it would be to have this to roll around on.
Ooooh, cozy! I'd love to feel snuggly in my bed. Our heater is out right now. Yes, it doesn't work! I'm lucky in that it's only 60 degrees in the house right now, but man, it's cold! My laptop is keeping me warm since it puts off so much heat, so it's nice to have that, but I'd much rather use a heated mattress pad than a laptop to stay warm!
I need one of those for my cold nights in the desert.
I think everyone's place is kept cold now and we would love to try this out.
I would love to win this. Please count me in. Thank you!
Count me in.
Oooh! It has been so frigid here! This would be perfect! Pick me!
this would be great. our apartment is not insulated right. so we are always cold no matter how high we turn up the heat. this would help so much
Please count me in....looks great
The South is freeeeezing right now!! Please warm me up :)
This sounds wonderful, I'll never want to get out of bed.
ooh toasty
My bedroom has two sliding glass doors out to the back patio, and 5' wide windows on either side of the doors. So, the entire wall is basically glass. All of our heat goes into the kitchen, where the only radiator is, so when I shut my door at night, I have no heat plus a lot of cold air coming through the glass. I have been sleeping bundled up in my fleece robe! It would be wonderful to sleep comfortably.
What a wonderful product
No more complaining that my husband wont come to my side of the bed to warm it up!!! This would make my winter all the more delightful.
My husband has just been talking about getting one of these!
The last time I "camped out" in my Victorian nightmare home which I affectionately call "VEGAS", it was 38 degrees....inside! I can't use the electric heater because it blows a fuse each time I have on a reading light at the same time! This might generate less electricity and would be a good alternative!
Jeez, i hope I am not too late...always too late. I could use one of these so bad too!
I am SO cold natured...I'd LOVE this!!! Thanks!
WOW! This would be so great to win, I would actually look forward to going to bed!
i can't seem to ever get warm so this would be awesome to win!! thanks
This is exactly what I'm looking for!
This heated mattress pad would be like a dream come true for me. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the heat from this mattress would make my life so much more comfortable.
Thanks for the chance to win.
We're in need of a new electric blanket. I've been told that the heated mattress pad would be better for my condition. I have RSD/CRPS which stands for Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I also have Chronic L5 Radicular Pain, Nerve Damage in my back and legs. I get very cold and it feels like my fingers and toes are frostbitten. I would love to have this and see if it works better for me.
DebA
Golly Gee Whiz! I had a heated blanklet and it died. (Loved it!) I thought I would try the heated mattress pad this time. I have Parkinson's and heat helps me to sleep!
