Paper clips are awesome because they're small and we marvel at how their smart design allows a tiny piece of metal or plastic hold a big stack of papers. Linie 58 applied the genius thinking behind paper clips to a universal table leg system that they are calling "Tick." It's incredibly awesome.

Tick allows you to turn an old cupboard door or basically any sturdy board of wood into a table. The bent metal wire structure of Tick allows it to clamp onto a board and transform it into a table without using screws and tools.
There's a great animation on their site that interactively shows how Tick works. The legs can adapt to different sized boards by pressing the legs together to accommodate a wider edge.
The legs come in black, white and chrome and there are two different sizes to choose from with recommended board measurements.

Our favorite aspect of Tick is how easy it is to assemble and take apart again. This is especially helpful for those who don't like messing around with tools (myself included). It also allows you to creatively reuse materials and transform your space how you want. It can be applied to a work desk or a smaller table for holding plants - it's all up to you.
