Many of us have had such a mild winter that it's easy to forget that it's February. With a smattering of rainy days and no freezing nights, I've decided to stop ignoring my garden this weekend and do a bit of tidying. While I was looking for new ideas for my container garden, I came across this clever tiered herb container garden made of galvanized tubs.
Carrie at The Vintage Wren came up with this lovely little herb garden to keep outside her back door. All it required were galvanized pots of various sizes, a hammer and nail (to punch drainage holes in the pots), potting soil and herbs of your choice.

This is lovely! I've been looking for a condensed way to plant my herbs & keep them away from the wild critters. This & deer netting just may do the trick!
Great idea. I can't cook without my fresh herbs. I am lucky to live in a climate where they can grow outside year round. Just getting ready to put in my new crop of basil so I have plenty of pesto. Yum.
