We love the vintage boutique Old Hollywood in Greenpoint, Brooklyn now located at 99 Franklin Street, and were lucky enough to come across this apartment tour with Time Out New York showcasing owner Tiffany Porter's favorite personal finds.
What stands out to us are the ways in which Porter uses her vertical space, and the fact that she has such interesting stuff which demands creative display. Wall space holds everything from your standard coats to the more unusual crown molding shoe collection. There are hats, jewelry, and various types of apparel curated and put on out for all to see; the entire space has the feeling of a large walk-in curiosity closet.
She also helpfully shares that though she loves finding cast-offs on the streets, she won't "pick up furniture in Brooklyn—that’s like asking for death.”

Interesting pieces, but the photos make it look so cluttered. It would help to have photos that give us a better look at the overall space.
What a lovely eclectic space. Especially like the improvised hat rack.
I'm so curious to see more! House tour?
Hats off to your boho-vintage apartment. The space is warm and personal with tons of visual interest. Live well and enjoy your space!
I love the shoe crown molding idea... but I wish they were facing outward so I could see what the shoes actually look like!
I love your use of vintage pieces. Not really my style though. Too cluttered. I don't think I would be able to breathe in that space, but hat's off to you!
Looks like a time capsule.
it would give me anxiety.
I disagree with the other commenters that call this cluttered. It's a lot, yes, but the arrangements are so purposeful and curated. When I think of clutter, I think of piles that never quite make it to their final destination. That's clearly not the case here.
I'm intrigued, and I'd love to see some higher resolution images.
Very "Interior Alchemy" (Rebecca Purcell).
she can purge some of it my way!
