•What: Penny Rounds in Mint from Ann Sacks
•Where: Our friend Amy's newly remodeled kitchen; West Rogers Park
•When: Photos taken Monday, August 20th at 9 pm
•Why: These popular tiles are typically reserved for bathrooms, but we love how they look in the sweet, small kitchen with white cabinets and gray countertops.

Love those! Did she put them up herself? Do they come in sheets or what... I always wondered about those. I would love to do my bathroom floor in penny tiles.
Oh nevermind, just looked on the site and got my answer...
Wow, beautiful. I love how neat and small they are, probably perfect for a little tidy kitchen.
Nice tile, but can we see the rest of the kitchen? I'm intrigued...
Candice...we're working on it! it will be a new house tour; just not quite ready yet.
that looks gorgeous, but how is the maintainance/cleaning issue?
can't wait to see the house tour!
Heather - Yay, thanks!
This kitchen looks like something I'd love. They had me with the vintage Pyrex bowl.
I have that in my kitchen, too! So far not a big deal in terms of clean up, although i guess i haven't really had any major disasters in the kitchen. How often do your kitchen walls get dirty, really?
White cabinets, hydrangeas and minty polka dots...it's like a dream!
This looks so fresh and nice. Now I want to re-do the ugly tile in my own kitchen.
It's hard to see how it really looks with ALL extreme close-ups
These penny tiles are one of the reasons I wish I owned my place. I wanted to do this in the shower a long time ago.
Oh, god. So, so cute. Want!
About the most charming tile imaginable. We're thinking about using them...but does anyone know, with all that exposed grout, are pennyrounds a challenge to keep clean? What do they require by way of maintenance?
