Arches of small sparkly granite squares set into a field of otherwise rather uninteresting stone flooring.

We first assumed the sparkle had to be coming from either metallic or glass tiles, but closer inspection revealed it to be polished stone. A great way to bring a little bit of magic into what would have otherwise been a boring floor - we can see a similar idea working well in a residential setting.
