Look carefully above at artist Wim Delvoye's piece Marble Floors. Beautiful, but a little different from your average floor tile because this particular installation was made with salami slices (note: looks similar to the tiling posted earlier today). Okay, not real salami slices, as that would quickly result in one stinker of a floor quite quickly; these are scanned and printed reproductions of the cured meat texture. Think that's weird? You won't believe the tile design under the jump...
Titled Mosaic, Delvoye's 1990 tile based piece reveals itself to be an extremely personal piece of artwork. So personal, that it is composed of a pattern created using repeats of his own...ahem...making.

That is vile. The salami is ok, not good, but ok. The second one is making me want to throw up!
