It's the quintessential padded room! And nice and bright, too! Who's to say it's weird? Just so I don't have to be kept in there...

This reminds me of the movie 'Bug' starring Ashley Judd and Harry Connick Jr. Neither the movie nor this room are for the faint of heart. : )

The walls look more like tufted space blankets than tinfoil. How would one tuft tinfoil, anyway.

I'm not understanding the foil covered chair and couch/bed thing, but the walls are wonderful.

Not to be a buzz kill, but "tin" foil is actually aluminum foil. Since about 1910, what we buy in the store today is made of aluminum, not tin.
