I don't know if I'd want to notify anyone I was "tinkling", but that is indeed the name of this wind chime concept from Korea's Lufdesign, which combines the pleasant (or annoying) sounds of chimes with a digital message notifying system...

When you receive a new email, IM, voicemail, the Tinkling's hanging "tail" changes colours and displays a message across the screen on the body. I like the idea...but think it would make work better as a weather notification device rather than a digital messenger notifier. Because the last thing I want is email bothering me as I'm in the tub.
