Sometimes things move so quickly around AT that if you blink, you miss something. In case you missed it yesterday, take a look at this tiny house that was on AT:Chicago.
Dee Williams downsized from a 1,500-square foot Portland house to an 84-square foot cabin she built from salvaged materials. She wanted a simpler life. She got it in a friend's back yard in Olympia.
(We know we saw this house featured on another website not long ago, but can't remember where. . .)

try yahoo, it's a feature on their home page now...
thanks josie, but it was a couple of months ago. (we wrote this last night, before it popped up on yahoo and at:green home.)
I remember reading about a very tiny house in an issue of a now defunct magazine, either "living room" or "organic style"....the guy now offers homes/plans

I find it a very appealing idea, but with 4 little children, my own 1500 sq ft old house feels tiny!
Those are such cute houses!
Even if you had children, you could use one with more bedrooms for somewhere like a beach house where you'd tend to be outside all the time anyways.
If I had wheels on mine, I'd be afraid someone would move me during the night as a prank haha
