We've been in a quest this month to do as little laundry as possible. Now our clothes aren't walking them to the dirty clothes basket by any means, but we do like the idea of being able to wear our jeans more than once without smelling like "day old jeans." Click through the jump to see the trick we've been using (no it's not vinegar) since we aren't exactly fond of the smell of Febreeze....Febreeze really gets up our nose (yes, here at AT we all share the same one...proceed with giggling!) in the wrong way. But there are occasions where some might come in handy, when we don't really feel like busting out the vinegar and need something a bit quicker.
This month we have been turning to Citra Spot. A quick spray on day (or two) old jeans and a few seconds in the dryer and you are good to go. We have been lightly spraying each side of our garments (2 sprays max so we don't smell like an orange grove) and then tossing them in the dryer for 2 minutes. Out come clean smelling clothes.
Just another way that enzymatic cleaners have saved the day! We love that it's a green product all around and that we aren't worried about smelling like a salad (vinegar), or worse, "field of lavender" or whatever smell is hip these days in the Perfumed odor eliminator world.
