August is upon us, and while my own girls aren't old enough yet to don a backpack, many of my friends are already feeling the stress of sending their little ones back to school. From separation anxiety to packing healthy lunches to the stress of all of those piles of paperwork that inevitably find their way home, there are so many extra worries that come along with the school year. So to help both you and your kiddo make the transition as smooth as possible, I've come up with a big list of tips and tricks from our archives:

Have designated places to store backpacks, lunch boxes, and school supplies:
