We must admit, a bunch of kids aged six and under decorating gingerbread houses and designing confectionery landscapes sounds a bit chaotic to our ears. But when it comes to raising money for their childrens' preschool, there evidently is nothing Melissa and Meghan won't tackle. The result? A veritable village of gingerbread goodness.
Melissa from HOUSEography (and also evidently from one of the craftiest neighborhoods in the country) helped her friend and neighbor Meghan put together this incredible holiday party. To streamline the process the houses were assembled ahead of time and the decorating supplies were neatly organized and close at hand. While there were three adults available to help out, the kids quickly got the hang of it and created some fantastical structures.
The party was a huge hit, so much so that Melissa tells us they are doing it all over again this weekend. Why not throw your own gingerbread party? Melissa gives great advice and tips on how to make it happen at HOUSEography.
