Artwork in 2008 moved decidedly towards the graphic and the crafty. On our sites, poster art reigned supreme, apparently everyone hung a "Keep Calm" poster, and Etsy took off as a source for unique cards, crafts and original artwork. In addition, readers seeking help with hanging their art also became a trend, as presumably more and more people bought, made and hung art in their homes. This is a very good thing! Below are some of our favorite links from the year, chronicling art inspiration, art makers and art how-to's that topped our charts.

I know this is a long shot but...
some time ago there was a house tour and the woman had a photograph taken from above of a gray street with a turquoise car. It was hanging behind her dining room table. I can't get that image out of my mind. I want that photo. Lady? Are you out there? Can you hook me up?

Wow Rebeldress, that's it. Going back to the post I see that people asked about that photo already but didn't get a lot of info. Thanks.
