Pictured are the iPod Nano, the U3, and the long-discontinued iPod shuffle. So the U3 imitates an older Apple product with addition of an lcd (which apperas to be absolutely necessary given the complicated menus) and radio. The current shuffle is the size of fifth cent piece, clips to your pocket and is wo much cooler. The whole point of the shuffle is to to SHUFFLE. The Nano will play your videos has a color lcd that is killer and does eveyrthing it's bigger brothers do, albeit in a smaller form factor. So, the U3 while pretty cute is not compelling, particularly because you are limited to Windoze.
