Name: Julia (3)
Location: Austin, TX
Color Inspiration: I had two colors in mind when I started thinking about the nursery: orange and magenta. I also love stripes and wanted to use stripes somehow. I started looking for bedding that had these colors but when I saw the wall sticker that had orange, pink, brown AND stripes, I knew I had to use it. But it wasn't until I found the bedding with the same colors that the rest of the room came together.
Tip for Using Color: Since magenta is such a strong color, we only painted half the walls and then used white for the remaining walls and ceiling. We positioned the wall sticker just above the furniture line to get the contrast with the white furniture. If we had painted the walls top to bottom, they would be overwhelming.
Colors Used: Magenta, orange, bubblegum pink, brown and white.
