LOL That's my ad listing.
What great finds- I'd love that dining table for my place!
those Milo Baughman chairs just sold on Ebay for $99! (same photos and everything!)
Those are not Milo Baughman slipper chairs!
Those are my chairs that I sold to the guys elling them and they ARE NOT Milo Baughman. They are no name chairs from the late 50's early 60's. I had them recovered about 5 years ago in that linen fabric. this guy is FALSE ADVERTISING! I never sold them to him saying they were authentic anything. Also, someone needs to tell the new owner about this as well. I dointerior decorating for a living and again, these are NOT authentic chairs!!!
If he's false advertising then be sure to flag his ad. He's always listing furniture on CL. Good to know that he's a crook.
@kjansson where did you find them anyways? Do you have any other ebay listings? Too bad I didn't see your listing on ebay, I probably would have bought them to enjoy in my house for that price!
Yeesh.
@icmags - I found them at an estate sale years ago and they were covered in an orange/yellow boucle that was in good condition, but not for my taste. I sold them to the guy who took those photos. I did not sell them on EBAY, he did. I put them up for sale last year when I was unemployed on CL and he was the only one who responded to the ad. I shed a tear or two when they left my house, but I needed to make a car payment :( I'm still sad they left, I would have bought them back if I knew they were up for sale. My mom still doesn't know I sold them, she will find out one day and I'm sure will be sad as well :(
@ badjane - I really am upset that he falsely advertised those chairs. I'm glad to see that he didn't get what he was asking for them. This is really putting me in a tizzy! I wanted them to go to a good home and stay there for a while, now I feel like they are getting tossed around like a hot potato :( I want them back!!!
@ larchgirl how do I find out who bought them on EBAY and let them know that they are not Milo Baughman?!??!?!
@Kjansson and Badjane, A dealer had told me these chairs were Milo Baughman. I did not know that they were not authentic and have since taken the ad down. I advertised the price at basically what I paid for them 200 each. The extra fifty was to cover haggling room. The chairs have never appeared on ebay as I am the original person that bought from Kjansson.
