Our patience with the cold weather is wearing thin. We find ourselves daydreaming about warm weather and time spent outdoors under the sun. As city dwellers we don't have much outdoor space, but something small scale like this could work.
We love the mushroom shape and detailing on the table and chairs. This set is made of resin and can be used indoors and out. All of this whimsical charm comes at a steep price - $450. You can find it here.

White Enamel Four-P...
beautiful!
That is so adorable. I love it.
these would be absolutely perfect in my backyard. my mom made some mushroom stools out of logs and big bowls turned upside down and painted. i think i will have to recreate them after seeing this
I've seen this set at the store and the stools are so wobbly I can't imagine a toddler (2-4) sitting on them very easily. It is very cute, but not well made. It's also very clunky and the table is tipsy too.
I think I just died and went to cute heaven. I'm sad to hear it's so poorly-made, especially given what, to me, seems like quite a high price for a children's set.
As a mushroom hunter outdoor playscape loving gal, I am so making this in a couple years. With broader bases to prevent the wobbliness. :D
simply beautiful~
I made some by forming a wire and rebar frame and covering it with cement. That was about 25 years ago and they are still fine.
I remember seeing something like these on a TV show using tomato cages and cement
Kate, any desire to post plans for a DIY version? I'm totally willing to work with cement and rebar, so I'd go for it... put together some plans and post it!! :)
Also, I've seen this particular set in a garden store and it is extremely cute. I agree with Toast that the stools are a little wobbly, but the overall look of it is magical.
Yes Honeyhaze, I would like to do another one for my grandchildren. It's a job for nice weather though, this spring.
