Q: Just reading your post on the V.Tech V.Reader Reading System and while this doesn't appeal to me, I'm wondering if readers can anyone recommend a book solution for a toddler/non-reader for the backseat during long trips? I remember that I had books on tape (complete with beeps to turn the page) for long car trips but am sure there has to be some more advanced version. I suppose that I could record my own, but before I go that route, am wondering if there's anything out there folks have tried -- or contrived on their own -- that offers some choice of reading selection (i.e. you aren't stuck promoting specific cartoon characters) *and* convenience. Thanks!

Editor: You should definitely be able to find toddler books on cd at your local library or bookstore. Most are kits that include the book and cd. Usually the cd has separate tracks - one with a beep to turn the book page and one without. Readers, are there more advanced things that Susannah should check out?
