These busy bags are ideal for travel, doctor's appointments or rainy days. Each bag is great in its own right, but the true genius here lies in putting together a bunch of these in advance then being able to grab a few bags and go.
The Princess And The Tot made 11 bags consisting of the following activities:
- family memory/matching game
- small notebook, stickers and colored pencils
- finger puppets
- lacing cards with laces
- pipe cleaners
- locker-size white board, marker and eraser
- paint swatches with matching paper clips
- small pegboards with pegs
- clothes pin shape matching
- foam disc puzzles
- fish sorting
Instead of scrounging for travel friendly toys and activities, these activities are all packed up, ready to go and easy to identify in bags with clear fronts. See more at The Princess And The Tot.

Nomade Express Slee...
Love this idea. I hide finger puppets in my purse for such occasions. I also keep a few of those tubes of small figurines (usually animals) and will grab one on my way out the door.
This is brilliant!
I learned from experience to keep a bag like this in my car for unexpected errands or (mostly) trips to Urgent Care. The hospital waiting rooms don't always have kid-friendly toys. Our bag has: a diaper, a juice box, one box of snacks, a coloring book, three crayons, and two small board books. Just enough.
This is a great idea! I totally want to do this for our next car trip!
