A month ago we featured Ariela's 'Toddler Garden' balcony
here on Apartment Therapy. Even on a tiny apartment balcony, Ariela was able to create a special space to grow edibles and teach her 2-year-old about gardening. Here's a 1-month update on the garden's progress — you'll be amazed at how everything has grown. Ariela says:
I just posted a 1 month update about the garden, which has more than tripled in size!
Those tiny tomato seedlings are almost taller than I am now and they tower above the munchkin, who can't believe how big his "baby plants" are getting. Plus we have more than a dozen strawberries, tomatoes and cucumbers coming in on our balcony. We also planted Jack-Be-Little pumpkins that are starting to grow and will be ready for harvest in late September.
