Togo chairs for children. Did you see these in the Style section of the NYT online yesterday? We remember the Togo line back when it was just couches - those marvellous slouchy couches from the mid-70's that looked so futuristic and modern.
According to the NYT yesterday, Ligne Roset has a new line of Michel Ducaroy's Togo chairs, but for children.
Now, we practically have the Ligne Roset catalog memorized and hadn't seen these before - they also are not on the Ligne Roset web site yet (that we can find), and a call to Ligne Roset didn't turn up much information, but we would love to check these out in person, although there is the question of how safe they are - in the NYT photo, they look like they would easily tip over, and we are curious about how much abuse they could take.
The Togo comes in two sizes: Baby Togo, for ages 2-4 ($485) and Mini-Togo, for ages 5-12 ($680). No information on Ligne Roset about colours, other than the green and burnt orange in the photo.
