If you liked Omnivore's Dilemma or Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, then you'll probably want to tune in to PBS at 10 p.m. tomorrow night for King Corn.
We've been meaning to see it for months now.
King Corn is a documentary that follows two best friends as they move to Iowa where they plant and grow an acre of corn.
The film explores farm subsidies, genetically modified seeds, nitrogen fertilizers, herbicides and what has been called the industrial food complex. From the website: "What they find raises troubling questions about how we eat -- and how we farm."
We've heard that, in the spirit of Supersize Me, it's both funny and serious.
