Tom's Modern Unisex Nursery in the Netherlands

My Room

Name: Tom (3 months)
Location: Haarlem area, The Netherlands

Tom's room used to be his sister's. Not knowing the gender we decided to choose the unisex approach in decorating and furnishing.

We did not want a typical nursery but a more ageless feeling to it. It is a mix of (personal) vintage things like my first shoes, my yellow seventies baby blanket and new pieces. The handmade elephant was a gift when Tom was born by sweet friends.

Most of the stuff is from IKEA (LACK book shelf, PS Cabinet, rocking moose, red glass lamps and the one hanging from the ceiling) and the crib and big white dresser are from Prenatal. The silver paint on the wall is a beautiful metallic grey by Histor (a Dutch paint brand).

Lovely - thanks Kirsten!
