We saw these pictures on Shannon Fricke’s blog and thought it was a really nice way to tie together a mix of objects. Grouping objects tonally gives them a strong overall look by transforming clutter into a cohesive arrangement. It works particularly well with objects of a similar size, but you could have fun experimenting with very different shapes in the same colour family.

Soothing, calming, each of these---and perhaps the best way to display any sort of collection AND maintain some editing and discernment standards. I'm especially drawn to the pale green pieces.
