Shaw's Original Fir...
What was an alligator doing in Chicago?
You can get gator heads in Florida a LOT cheaper than that!
it was living in the sewers
Disgusting.
Taxidermy I've seen for sale on the Detroit Craigslist: A full lion rug, an elephant's foot stool, a wolverine, a moray eel.
At this point I just can't stop looking, even though I find it repulsive.
Thank you JASMINELSDOMESTIC.
My parents have deer and antelope mounted heads in their log home. Funny thing is, my dad bought them all at garage sales because he's too cheap to have his own mounted, haha. Not my thing, although hunting for horns is harmless and fun. If they were exotic and/or endangered animals killed just to make rugs and foot stools, then I'd have some complaints. Lions and elephants? If they didn't die naturally, I'd just cry.
Every time a dead animal gets posted on AT, everyone says it is disgusting. Yet AT keeps doing this. Why is that?
Because not everyone finds is disgusting, but those who do are sure to say so. I love it!
Because not everyone says it's disgusting. Looks like only 2 out of the last 8 commenters think that. You'd probably have a higher percentage of people claiming that mid-century modern is disgusting.
Wait...Basil&Bones 'Hunting for horns is harmless and fun'? I'm hoping you meant 'looking' for shed horns and not killing for them 'cause that's not exactly harmless...
I don't find it disgusting. Animals die, naturally or by human hands. Either way, it happens. I don't like hunting for sport, and I don't really care for taxidermy, but I also don't think it's really disgusting or that people shouldn't do it. Well, I take that back. People shouldn't hunt for sport, unless there are issues with overpopulation, but taxidermy is more "weird" than "ew" for me.
