
File this one under “it’s so cool that you can’t even buy it yet.” Frustrating, yes. But as technology improves we can hopefully one day be able to see the exact moment our bagel is perfectly toasted.
The material is heated glass, which is currently being used in heated towel hangers and food warming shelves. One proposed invention using this material is a transparent toaster. I'd imagine that this might be easier to keep clean as well since there's no reservoir/tray in the bottom to catch crumbs.
Looks great but I imagine the potential for burns is high since the glass looks cool and you're more apt to touch it than you would a toaster.
i eat toast and/or a bagel every day, and nothing starts a day off on the wrong foot more than the smell of charred carbs. can't wait till these are available for the masses!

I have been searching high and low for a transparent toaster everywhere. Anyone know where I can get it? Only seen one in the UK but very expensive
